The Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association and MassTAPP collaborated to provide action steps to help prevent opioid misuse and overdose among student athletes. It guides the selection, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, culturally appropriate, sustainable interventions to prevent and/or reduce prescription drug misuse and abuse in Massachusetts.
